Mrs. Tory Gonya

I am so blessed to call St. Bernard my home. This is my 6th year teaching in Catholic Education and my 3rd year at St. Bernard School. I double-majored in Secondary Education and English and minored in Theatre at Marshall University. I also received my master's degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati. My favorite things about teaching at St. Bernard are the familial nature of our classes and staff, our regular infusion of the Catholic Faith across the curriculum, and our student to teacher ratio. My favorite saint is St. Francis of Assisi due to his love of all of God's creation, especially animals. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with family and friends. I am so happy and honored to share my faith and passion for reading and the language arts with my students!
