I am so excited for the opportunity to be the 6th Grade Homeroom Teacher at St. Bernard!
I was blessed to join the St. Bernard staff as a librarian and technology teacher. I immediately experienced what I had heard from so many people- that St. Bernard School is a family. I feel blessed to become a full-time family member and take on a larger role as the 5th-8th grade science teacher in the 2023-2024 school year!
I received my secondary Education degree from Franciscan University in 2017, and have taught in Catholic schools ever since. While I have taught multiple grades and subjects, my greatest love has been for the middle school level. I love our students' ability to learn, engage one another in discussions, and their uncanny ability to make me laugh.
Some of my hobbies include reading, running, praying and spending time with family and friends, especially my many nieces and nephews. I also serve as a sacristan at St. Jude parish in Bridgetown.
I am grateful for the chance to grow with my students in wonder and awe at God’s creation through our Science curriculum this school year!
