Mrs. Katie Harrell

I have been teaching at St. Bernard for over 20 years, first as a general educator and now as an Intervention Specialist with OptimALL Services. I feel very blessed to be a part of the St. Bernard Community.  The dedication and commitment to meet the needs of all students is evident in all aspects of the educational experience. My team and I work collaboratively with the teachers and parents to provide interventions, accommodations, and modifications to promote student confidence, growth, and success.

My background includes receiving a Bachelor of the Arts in Elementary Education from Mount St. Joseph and a second Bachelors in Special Education from the University of Cincinnati. Additionally I am dually licensed in the state of Ohio with a Professional K-8 License and a Professional K-12 Intervention Specialist License.
