Mrs. Sue Karwisch

I have been working at St. Bernard as a Title One Reading Tutor for four years. My teaching background is varied.  I have taught English and Reading, as well as Special Education to a variety of grades over the years. My degrees are in K-12 - Special Education, K-8 - Elementary Education as well as a Masters in Special Education.

It is so amazing when my students are enjoying reading a favorite passage or book with confidence and having a sense of accomplishment! Their smiles are contagious!

The ongoing communication with the teachers I work with is outstanding. We are all collaborating together for the success of the students.

I enjoy reading, traveling, gardening and hiking.
